Where can the Glacier Ice machine be placed?

To install a Glacier Ice Machine you only need three items:

1. Access to clean water

2. Access to power

3. Access to drainage

Surface

The surface the machine sits must be reasonably level but our installation team will correct any unevenness on the installation.

Indoor or outdoor

Our machines are to be placed outdoors and work best if in a shaded area. They can sit in direct sunlight but this degrades the performance of the machine and slows its ice production capacity.

Who maintains the Glacier Ice Machine?

Glacier Ice coordinates all maintenance on your machines. This includes a monthly check and scheduled ongoing maintenance.

The franchisee is only liable to for scheduled maintenance component replacements such as water filters a bag replacement. There is no labor charge for this scheduled maintenance.

If there’s emergency maintenance on the machine, Glacier Ice will co-ordinate all repairs to the machine passing on the direct costs to the franchisee.

What does the service fee cover?

Glacier Ice’s monthly service fee of $250 covers all services provided to the franchisee. This includes:

• Machine servicing

• Payment Access

• Maintenance organisation

• Report processing

Glacier Ice promises to ensure our franchisees can be completely hands-off in the operation of their Glacier Ice machine.

What percentage of revenue will you receive?

We have made it as simple as possible for our franchisees. They retain 95% of the revenue generated by their Glacier Ice Machine. The other 5% is directed towards payment processing fees.

The Glacier Ice franchise withholds none of the funds collected by the franchisee’s Glacier Ice machine.

On the 23rd of each month the funds generated by the franchisee’s machines will be directed to their account with the monthly sales report.

How to I know the sales performance of my Glacier Ice machine?

You will be sent a daily report for the performance of your machine that summarises the total sales and individual products sold.

This ensures you are in control of your franchise and are able to track trends to drive greater sales.
